Post by arlojanis »

Is there an antenna bracket for hood mount for the new Chev trucks? Need to find one like for the Dodge trucks.

I have see the standard "L" NMO brackets on the trucks and work fairly well. Usually available in black or chrome. I have two on my 97 Suburban (low band and UHF) and they work very well.
Lowband radio. The original and non-complicated wide area interoperable communications system

The standard "L" bracket does not fit the new style Chev truck.

Antenna brackets

Antennex makes some nice straight brackets that work well for the Dodge, but you are gonna have to spend some time bending them to work on the new GM's.. Hate to say it,, drill the roof..

Hmmm. I just did an '03 with an "L" bracket and with a little love from a pair of pliers, it worked just fine.
