Does anyone know what the two extra pins are for on the CDM "Waris" line's microphone jack? Which pin is BOOT control? I looked under model specific information, but something seems to conflict on the BOOT pin number.

Dont know which is boot control, the extra pins are likely for the enhanced mic which if I remember right has three programmable buttons on it.

Jim, I've looked in the service manual, but none of the pins are labelled "boot". Here's how it's shown:

10- Analog Input 2
1- FLT A+
2- 5 volt
3- Hook
4- GND
5- MIC
6- PTT_IRdecoder
7- BUS+
8- Handset Audio
9- Analog Input 3

Looking at the front of the radio, the pin order looks like this:

9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 10

Todd

I'm building the cable for flash upgrading. The OEM cable works strictly through the mic jack. The schematic on Batlabs shows "BOOT" being pin 18 on the acc. connector and goes to your flash cable. What I am looking for is which pin on the mic jack puts the radio into this mode without connecting to the acc. port. The standard and the RIBless cable don't use the 20 pin connector.
