I am looking for a good site to help me with my amateur radio Repeater Project. I am using a GM-300 for rx and a M-120 for tx and I need some help interfacing a controler and a simplex UHF Control reciever. I also want to if these radios together will work ok for amateur. If anyone has a good site it sure would help.

Thanks: Jeff

And....another site you may want to try:

http://www.seits.org/repeater/repeater.htm

also found WA0AUQ's discussion(although somewhat critical)on Astron Power Supplies informative....

http://www.seits.org/features/pwrsup.htm

Good Luck!

I make up interface modules to go between your radios and make a repeater. As each one is hand made with attached cables, they can include several options. It can also be upgraded to include a control channel if nessary.

Jeff,

All you have to do is interface your controller in the middle between radios. I know several people who have done this and they work fairly well. You may want to consider turning down your power on the tx radio and run an external amp. The radio pa just doesn't like the abuse repeater duty does to them.
