Anyone a Troy Products or Gamber Johnson Dealer?

Post by apco25 »

If so please pm, I have several pricing and model questions for both brands for an upcoming 03 Suburban install. I have a lot of equipment and laptop to mount and I need to make sure I have enough room for all of this gear.

I need to mount the following

2 Motorola A9 control heads
1 Motorola A7 control head
1 MA/COM Orion control head
1 MA/COM LPE vehicle charger
1 MTS2000 MTVA converta-com
1 Federal Signal SW400
1 Federal Signal SMC5

Internal or external storage box, storage compartment and cup holders are required.

I'd like the laptop mount to be clear of the console but not so high that it shows above the vehicle dash. Trying to be low key here.

With the 10" GJ box, I have a Whelen MPC01, 2 A7's and 1 A9 mounted in there with a about 1 3/4'ish space left. Plenty of "underneath" room. Prior to that, I had a Whelen PCC9R, Whelen arrow controller and two A9 heads with 1 1/2 inches to spare. Looks clean.

Troy Products NEW MC Console Line 22"

Post by johnnybelks »

Troy products recently released a new line of consoles called the MC line. These consoles feature a sloped upper area for greater visibility, and the rest of the console is flat.

These consoles would work great in a truck or SUV and they can accomodate up to 22" of faceplates. Nothing looks more organized and professional than a troy console.

I have these consoles available ONLINE using a credit card through PayPal (http://www.coderedsecurity.com). Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information.

Thanks,

I need at least 22 inches of space not including accessories mounted externally. Also need laptop mounitng area, although gamber johnson has a nice offset mount using the passenger seat bolts.

Your best bet is the Troy MC console model # CC-MC-22 which holds 22" of faceplates. This includes a no-holes-drilled base plate that connects to the existing seat bolts in the vehicle.

Also sold by Troy is a laptop mount that can be affixed to the base plate right in front of the console, and will extrude up above the console. A gamber johnson notepad III is a similar laptop mount, and would work the same way, bolting directly to the base plate in front of the console.

Holler if you need any more info.. There are TONS of accessories available for Troy consoles including cup holders, storage boxes, microphone holders, etc.
