Is this a useful feature,or does it make more problems? Is this real help if you have 2 frequencies that are the same but have differant PL's(in the same scan list)?

Is that the only 1250 you have? Cause its not locking out on mine. And I have two freqs. with the same freq. 90 miles apart. with two different pl's! no prob on my Ht, JT, MT ? Try changing something..add 25khz to one of the freqs. that are the same. Just to see if the problem repeats! ---- back to work.. hate graveyard shifts.

It not realy a big problem but the the other transmiter is 25 or so miles away(very high power) and you have frequency A as priority it will try to sample frequency B(differant pl)when it is talking,My JT1000 does a semiliar thing.I was just wanted to find out if anyone was using this feature and how good does it work?

Mostly flat desert where I use the radio! What state are you in? I may have some info for you? depending on what bands you are using? Anyway it might happen but I would need to try it in the Ham band. Where there are repeaters 50 miles apart with the same freq. with different pl's.....
Anyone else out there have any input?
