Click on old truck install then 03 suburban.

Here is the new beast, 2 days after I picked it up. I custom ordered this truck with every heavy duty option GM had available and let me tell you it is VERY sweet! I didn't order Quadra-Steer since I figured this would be a repair headache when it breaks.

Just starting to get the exterior stuff done, like mudflaps, bug shield, vent visors and pushbumper.

K&N filter is already installed and I plan to add a custom exhaust from a local performance shop to this bad boy. Its the 6.0L V8.

Install is still in the planning stages with a 2 page parts list already done.

I'm going to have a metal shop custom fabricate a mounting plate system to hold all the equipment under the second row seats using the existing seat bolts for a no holes drilled and hidden installation.

Looks like a Troy CC-24 series console with storage options will be inside the beast. Laptop mount of course.

I have the antenna pattern designed with most of them going to be whipless style from Maxrad unless its VHF or Low-band which will be conventional antennas

I was out looking at picking up an Avalance the other day, and I went and checked out the new suburban for kicks. I swear its much smaller than any of the older ones. Might as well pick up a Tahoe...the burb was only maybe 2 feet longer.

Still a nice ride!

The suburban really isn't much smaller than a couple inches. Its still bigger than the current Tahoe and for the price its a better deal with better mechanical options. Tahoes and Yukons are overpriced becaue of the soccer mom market.

I needed a big, heavy duty vehicle without going to a crew cab pickup.

Plus you cant get the Taho in a 2500 model.

The headlights on the rig look real good with hide-a-ways
