Dude, I don't think anybody's ignoring you, the right person just hasn't read your posts yet. From what I gather from the posts, you have a non-secure VHF Spectra. You have added a DES-XL board from an 800MHz Spectra. You say you then enabled Securenet in the RSS? I assume you must have LAB, because I cannot do that with my regular RSS, the cursor won't even go there. Just because you tell the radio it's secure doesn't mean it will work, there are firmware & memory chips involved. Not to mention I'm not even sure if the 800MHz secure board is the same as a VHF, it probably is, but I don't know. Lastly, the only way I've seen Spectras keyloaded is through the mic connector, so I don't know what you're asking when you talk about an external add-on board for keyloading. Anybody else have more info for him?

Hey, thanks for the reply. I am sure many will respond later after the holidays. The Spectra I have is trunk mount unit, with detactable control, and requires loading via the base unit. My problem is I lack the board on the base unit which has the pins for the KVL to load it.

If someone reading these post has, or knows where I can get this board, please let me know. As for the RSS, it will access the secure area, but doubt it be Lab s/w, I downloaded off some site years ago. Regardless, would love to get this radio running.

Happy Holidays to all!
