Hello All. Happy Holidays
I have a Spectra A5 dash mount installed in my Fire truck. The radio died, so I installed my spare. I cant seem to get the remote mics to work that are connected via the rear 15 pin jack. I Plugged in a regular mic in the front panel and it works perfectly. Any ideas?? Software/hardware?? HELP PLEASE???? EMAIL ME DIRECTLY AT [email protected]! THANKS!

Jay,
Sometimes the Spectra accessory connector is not configured correctly for an extended microphone setup. If I remember, without getting out the BIG manual, there are two jumpers in the radio that have to be put in.
If you need further, I need to know what pins the remote mic is connected to on the 15 pin plug. Most used a standard configuration but there is always a chance someone micky-moused it!
