MT1000 42-50Mhz to 54Mhz Conversion Wanted

Hi:

I am looking for " anyone " who has
sucessfully completed whatever " Hardware "
Mods are required for the P200 / MT1000
Series 42-50 Mhz Radio to work into the
50-54 Mhz Hamband.

I have found the radios VCO falls off shortly
after 52.35 Mhz, and I realize that some
physical componets will need to be changed
to do this.

I wish to " Avoid " thaking the entire VCO
Block in and out of the radio to preserve the
PC board, and would be willing to perhaps make a swap on some technical data I have or
perhaps a mid split low band MT1000 ( Minus
Controller and Xtal Filter ) Sorry that was the way I received them in exchange for the
information.

If I have too, I will canabalize the 30 Mhz
one to do the experimenting...
