I have a Saber II I use for the Ham bands. Its about a year old 95% condition in & out. Two days ago the battery icon is displayed All the time? (A problem I've seen in years before) Batteries are NTN4595 & 6 months old. No changes were made. It just appeared & sits there? Only feature that tells me the battery is low is the red led light flashing on top. (then the battery icon starts flashing too!) (gives me about a 30min warning) Bugs me that it just appeared, & stays there! Any help/ideas/questions from the Saber folk? TIA Ed...

It's supposed to be there. My saber II and SYSTEMS SABER III both do the same thing. They only flash when it's low.
