I have an 8 channel VHF Radius GM300 radios that was converted to 16 a channel radio. I know that because it does not have an "expanded logic board" how can I get signalling funtions besides buying one that does?
Also, It says in the GM300 model information page that trying to add scan into an 8 channel radio is not going to work. Why is this? Mine scans all 16 channels fine. In fact, the 8 channel models have scan already as a feature!

Hi:
Sorry to report, just making a simple channel
expansion mod will not support what you need.
You will have to start from a Blank GM300
Logic Board, tell the radio what you want
it to be, and then realighn the radio.
email me direct if you wish some futher
informatiom
Not recommended for most persons as the GM300
series IS NOT very user friendly like the old
Maxtracs / Radius Mobiles.

- What radios do you own?: APX4K, XTL5K, NX5200, NX700HK
It's not important at all. Some of the things I monitor use MDC-1200. On my GP350 radio, I used it in rx only in order to block part of the tone burst out. I was hoping I could easily do the same with the GM300 radio. Thanks for the input. On 2002-01-01 20:23, [email protected] wrote:
