I have a low band syntor 9000 that receives fine, transmits, but no audio comes across. Used radio just programming. I had a similiar problem with another one, but would not transmit at all, it was fixed by changing tx inhibit. Any thoughts?? I would think something in the programming needs to be changed from where it was set previously. No errrors codes.

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

Check the pins on the J1 connector. I have a x9000 that does that when there isn't enough pressure on the pin. Because of that, it doesn't make electrical contact. I find if I twist a little bit, it works and stays in place.

Yeah yeah, I know, I should fix it, but I haven't had the time yet!

There won't be any mic audio while you still have the program cable hooked to it.
