gm300 bandsplit ?

hi there .. i just got a gm300 cheap but it is 449-470 mhz bandsplit... is there any way of using this radio on 433 mhz ?? i can get it down to 440 mhz pressing the shift key!
is there a way of editing the file to fool it or what ? ok happy new year and bye for now de g0mdv mark

The GM will not go down to 433 without a big fight. The VCO will need realignment and the receiver RF stage is fixed tuned and you would have to change quite a few parts, same on the transmitter.
Check with Monte, I belive he has some 430 radios or may know where to look.
