Mitrek power problem

I'm working on a Vhf 2 channel 110 watt Mitrek that has an intermittant transmit problem...I don't have a diagnostic meter to check it with. I do know that the exciter is transmitting on frequency. When it does transmit , it's full power..110 watts. But when it decides not to, it's no power at all...no current draw....just exciter. Any tips?

Check the little reed switch in the antenna switch they are notorious for being a problem.
