I got a chance to look at the 2003 CV and it seems to have a larger hump under the ashtray than in previous years, am I missing something?

For the 2003 year models, Ford mounted the airbag computer under the dash and added the accessory plug under the ashtray.

Actually it looks like there is a lot of bulk onder the carpet of this vehicle. I don't remember them having that much stuff under it.

under the carpet is 2 plastic heater vents that run along side the hump on either side . They run heat under the seat to the rear of the car

...and these heater vents easily remove, too. Why does the suspect need HVAC anyway? They have more important things to worry about- like the deer that runs out in front of the car!
