MTX8000 Scan Problem

How come my mtx8000 will only let me program the first scan list manually . All the others give me an error when i try to program them

Each trunking personality or conventional mode is assigned to a scan list whether they are all in the same list or different lists. It's possible that you have all of your personalities and modes assigned to one list.

I haven't messed with B3's for awhile so if that's what you're having a problem with, it may only allow you one scan list. I can't remember.

You can send me mail or better yet send me the codeplug you're working with and I can look at it.

I have a b7 mtx8000 and know Have 12 scan lists in the radio. My problem is that I can only programthe first scan list through the radio all the others I have to use the rss.

Are all the scanlist members set to OP/SEL? If you use fixed (or probably some other options) than you can program them from the radio but only from the RSS. This setting is unique to each scanlist created. If that doesn't do it, than it might help to know what kind of scan you have selected (i.e. Talkgroup, Priority talkgroup, etc.)

Thanks that worked , only my 1st scan list was op/sel all the others were fixed
