Hello to all. I recently purchased an older //otorola microphone for my collection and am trying to get some information on it. The part number is YMN4004A and it is red in color on the front and back with a red PTT button. The grill is off white (Bone white?) and the batwings are in red on the silver disc. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance,

The state of Ohio (and I am sure many others as well) Had mics such as the one you described made by GE & Motorola for their LEERN Network radios (LEERN are statewide emergency freqs)

I am sure many Fire Depts used these also

Anyhow here is a link to a pic of the GE version http://www.radtek.sdione.net/images/mod ... r2_mic.jpg
