I've been toying with the idea of playing in the 900Mhz ham band and I've found an MCS2000 that I can pick-up for a good price. It shows the radio to be a 896-941MHz radio (M01WGL4PWAN) Has anyone ever played with you before. Is it do-able or will I be wasting my time?
Thanks for your input

What radios do you own?: Too many

I have one working OK on the repeater splits and direct. (TX hi and low in the band) But VCO (FAIL 00 1) error code trying to RX lower than the repeater freqs. I hope to find out if there is a "steering line" adjustment like there is with Maxtracs etc. To get it to work on the Nat'l simplex freq.

I used the Dos RSS, and you do about the same as modifying the bandsplits for Maxtrac/raduis/gm300. See the Batlabs page, good luck.

If you run into another radio at a good price, I am looking for a second.
