MCS2000 Model 1 - same RSS and cable as model 2 ????

I have programmed dozens of MCS2000 model 2 and 3's. Yet upon programming my first model 1, my tried and true cables, rib, and RSS are getting a "connection with radio has failed." This is the newest windows software, am I missing something????

They are definitely the same RSS & cable. Is the radio new? If not, it may require the DOS RSS. Otherwise, it may have a problem in the control head, I've had that happen. If you don't have another Model I control head to try, a Model II or III head will work, it'll just have a screwy display. Good Luck.
