HI:

Make sure you are using a Suitable Computer
Platform ( 386-486-25 ) Recommeded, a good
Rib Box ( Motorola one ) recommended, and a good Programming cable.

Also, I would check to insure you have the
correct RSS for your radio..

You might repost the version you are using, and I can tell you if its right or not.

MTX800 Software is NOT compatable with MTX810 RSS. MTX810 RSS should be Ver 3.00.00

motorola also made 900Mhz classics, that looked exactly the same as 800Mhz classics.
if your back sticker is still in place it should say 800 or 900 in the center of the label. just an idea....
if i recall, the mtx810 program is very touchy with speed, also, does your mtx810 program specify trunked and conventional, i know motorola also made some conventional only radios at first, mabe you have a conventional only program.

Radio_kid,

I have several MTX810 and Motorola Classic's. My software works fine, but you need a really old slow computer. The software I have is from 1991 or so, and so is my computer. If you need anymore help, you can email me @ [email protected].
