R100 help

I can program the receive fine. But on the transmit I get a checksum error. I modified the software to allow the ham band. I read it once then tried to write and had problems. Now I read and get a checksum error. Please help. Email me at [email protected]

Hi:

You might desribe your programming platform...

If you are using a computer faster than a
386-486-25, you may have corruted the code
plug....

R100's are pretty sensitve.....

Try and reprogram it back to the original
freqs, and see if you SW may be corrupted.

What do I do if I corepted the code plug. how do I replace it.

Warren, didn't April help you with this on another board?

Also sometimes I have to read a good R100 and save it back to the bad one. The RSS will NOT alow you to save the code plug information. So you have to have the good and bad R100's there together at the same time. If you still have a problem, send me the bad TX module and I will plug it into my test setup and blow a new code plug in it from one of my spares.
I can also modify it for you at the same time.
