ok, I have a gp350 and planning on getting a PRO 9150 can any of these radios have a preamble? If so how do I set it. Any help is appreciater, Also is a 9150 basically the same exact thing as a HT1550 except an export? Thanks

Yes, the 9150 can do preamble for sure.

I think any radio that does MDC1200 is capable. Preamble only allows extra time for MDC sync due to different system configs. Some people like how it sounds, which unless you are using DOS, can get pretty annoying real quick.
