have a small question, I have one of those HT-600 style vehicular chargers with the charger on/off toggle and the repeater (pac-rt) on/off toggle switch. I want to remove the charger completely since I have a new radio and don't use the ht600 any more. I still want to use the pac-rt and want to just install a switch to take the place of the entire charger unit.

Ideally, I would like to cut off the silver barrel connector and just wire in the switch.

Can anyone tell me exactly what I need to add if anything, or can I just add the switch and that's it?

I am going to check on the info on the batlabs board now as to if there is a schematic and such.....

oops
Check under Maxtrac and PAC-RT radios. I submitted info on this last year. If you need further info, email me at [email protected]. I built a little switchbox for my PAC-RT, since I didn't have the charger unit.

If you take the charger out of your vehicle, I would be interested in purchasing it if you want to sell it. I dont need to Pac-Rt switch if you need to take it out.
