Help in programming Astro Spectra

Post by Anderegg »

I have a bunch of Astro Spectra radios, and a very old copy of astrom/astrop MRSS. I have my old Spectra programming cable, but cannot find my old RIB box. It was a tiny one with a dongle for connecting a 9v battery. I was wondering if someone can help me locate a new RIB box, preferably battery powered on the cheap. Maybe someone can recomend an ebay auction with the best RIB box to fit my needs.

Any assistance appreciated! :-)

A simple search on ebay pulls up the following auctions:

Beware that the ones claiming to be OEM RLN4008 units are NOT, judging by the pics in the ads I did look at, but they appear to be of decent build quality from the outside, at least, and near 100% positive feedback scores.
