Adding entries to MDC ID lists

Post by gatekeep »

I have a curious question. I know how to properly edit MDC ID lists from a full keypad radio that's not a problem. What I'm wondering is, is how to enter A,B,C,D values into the ID field? I can add F but not A,B,C,D.

How does one edit the ID list to add MDC ID's with a hexadecimal value in them (from the radio)?

FYI, this is a generic question because I can't add ID's on either my XTS2500 or my ASTRO Saber.

In my experience with the XTS3K and 2500 you can only add MDC IDs with alpha digits other than F to the call list via CPS. Apparently the keypad does not support A B C D or E.
