What is this radio?

Post by Rons Radio »

Hello all. Was given a Motorola model D33LRA1304AK radio. What is this radio; VHF high, UHF, what power out ,etc?

Thanks in advance.

Whatever it is, the 33 indicates that it's low power, VHF high..
If you can get a generic model name from the case, then
go to batlabs.com under Model Specific Information and see
if the manufacturing code is listed there. I did find an eBay
listing for the model you show but I could not get the system
to retrieve the auction.

That was the model number on the tag on the bottom of the radio.

I did try to look up the model in the look-up section and found nothing. That is why I posted the question here.

Radius. VHF Hi band, 25 watt dash mount, probably 16 channels but might be a 2 channel model.

FWIW, the one-line listing in the eBay feedback reference had it listed as a two-channel radio.
