S-record questions

I apologize if this has been discussed before, I can't seem to find the information when searching. If want to put a new s-record in an Astro Spectra I understand the donor radio and the destination radio need to be the same band split, however does the wattage matter? If I want to take a s-record from a 110 watt Astro Spectra can I put it in a 50 watt Astro Spectra as long as the band split is the same?

Yes. You'll have to do a full TX Power alignment, of course, but it does work.
