Interfacing an Astro Spectra with DGT9000D L1667

Post by cahighwayman22 »

There seems to be scattered info on how to inteface a Spectra/Astro Spectra with a DGT9000D. I know a digital junction box is needed for certain occasions. But is it needed to interface a Astro Spectra with the DGT9000D? And if so, whats the pinout for the DB15 connector? This model doesn't have the RJ11 Modular jack.

Yes, the junction box is needed, however, I don't recognize your model number of L1667. You can look in this thread here for a bit of info on the model numbers...looks like the model needs to be an L17xx series to work with the Astro...and it needs to be a consolette, not a regular dash/remote mount.
