XTL5000 controlled via J-Box interface and MC3000 (L3223)

Post by Jim202 »

I am told that you can use a J-Box to directly remotely control an XTL5000 from an MC3000 desk top remote. Is there a special version of the J-Box that is needed or a firmware update for the J-Box?

I know that they will control a consolette with the XTL5000 radio. But I am trying to do this directly with the control cable going directly into the accessory connector of the radio.

I have also heard that you can do the same thing with the APX-7500 radio. Anyone have any feedback on this?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Jim
