Mototrbo IP programming

Post by gstringe »

Trying to get an XPR 8400 up on my home Linksys network for IP programming . I can ping the radio but so far many attempts at
configuring the IP addresses has not resulted in a connection. I have the current CPS and RDAC software. I am not going to use this as having a master radio and sub radios, just one radio with remote programming and alarm capability. The radio is in analog mode.

The online help isn't much help. Not clear at all in the IP setup.

Any help appreciated.

You need to purchase the 'IP Programmming' entitlement for the CPS:

HKVN4047 IP Repeater Programming and Upgrade License - "Activate in the MOTOTRBO CPS 6.0 or later. Once activated, the CPS can connect to an unlimited number of repeaters, one at a time."
