Saber III - Selectable PL / Scan TX channel

I've successfully programmed a Saber III but I'm now working out more "advanced" features. Using the archive I have figured out most things but have questions about User Selectable PL and the Scan TX channel.

User Selectable PL - does the User Selectable PL work with RSS programmed PL's ie. can you program a PL using RSS and then "overwrite" the PL with a User Selectable PL. When you switch off User Selectable PL, does the PL default back to the PL originally programmed via RSS? Is User Selectable PL on a channel by channel basis or is it a "global" feature with all channels fixed on the currently selected User Slectable PL

TX Scan - can you set up the Saber to TX on an active Scan channel ie. when the scan stops on a busy channel, can you then TX on that channel? There seems to be options to TX on a pre designated single channel OR the last channel prior to entering scan but I can't see any mention of just being able to TX on the current busy scan channel?
