JT 1000 question

JT 1000 question

On a JT1000 can a ch name be displayed for each of the 16 ch, or is it just ch1, ch2, etc. If the ch name can be displayed, can this be programmed from the keypad, or is the HT1000 RSS needed for that? Thanks. GARY N4KVE

No.

The radio will only display frequency and PL/DPL tone or you can set it to channel number. No alphanumeric channel names, I'm afraid.
