FRN1904BA Goose Neck Mic pin-out
I know this question was posted several years ago but there was no response. I have a FRN1904BA goose-neck/deskmic for use with the Desktrac. The mic cord is missing so I want to build one. I have studied both the batlab and repeater-builder pages that detail the pin-out for the Desktrac and Maxtrac radios and are certainly helpful. However, there is no info that I can find which pertains to the pin-out of the FRN1904BA deskmic that was available for use with this radio. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: FRN1904BA Goose Neck Mic pin-out
Is there a RJ45 8 pin jack on the mic base? What is in the base of the mic?
The mic pinout on the DeskTrac is much the same as the Maxtrac and Radius mobiles. PL Disable is logic low on the DeskTrac.

Re: FRN1904BA Goose Neck Mic pin-out
Mic connector is a RJ-45. Base of the mic contains a circuit board with surface mount components. A Maxtrac hand mic works fine but the Radius desk mic that I have does not work on this Desktrac. It does work with other Maxtracs.
The pin out on Bat Lab shows pin 8 (pin 1?) with 5v. Not sure if the FRN1904BA goose-neck uses this pin for operation. Maxtrac mics use pins 3, 4, 5, 6.
Any Ideas?

Uses a straight-through wire configuration on pins 3-6. For best results use a shielded cable.
