XTS3000 ASTRO25 Channel ID Problem

Post by Muxlow »

SO!
My XTS3000 800mhz is flashed for 9600 baud and trunking and such. SO! It should be doing what i want it to. I have done the exact same setup for a XTS2500 and for whatever reason its not letting me in the ASTRO Saber/XTS CPS

Flash is 548008-000480-9

ASTRO IMBE Digital Operation
Enhanced Digital ID Display
Hardware Multikey Encryption
Trunked One Touch Status Message
SmartZone Systems Operation
SmartZone Omnilink MultiZone Operation
ASTRO 25 9600 Baud Trunking

Now when i load my system key i can do everything i need to other then under the Trunking Systems/ASTRO 25 Channel ID.
I cant edit anything in there. Can on the 2500, cant on the 3000. Another thing different on the 2500 is in the 700/800 ASTRO 25 Control Channels on the 3000 it only has Channel ID Number (cant edit it) and RX frequency. On the 2500 it has RX and TX frequency plus i can edit the channel id number under that tab

What could be causing this? The system im trying to do does not use the default bandplan and since i cant change it.. of course its not working.
I need to edit the Channel bandwidth TX Offset, Channel Spacing and base Freq. When i move my mouse over them i get the little glasses

Using ASTRO Saber & XTS3000 CPS R05.03.00

Anyone have any ideas?

What Host firmware does the radio in question have?

-Marc
Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

I'll assume that the XTS3000 just cant do it? That i was never ment to have Astro25 and was kinda of forced in and the default badnplan settings cant be edited?
