xtl5000 console base to mobile conversion problem

I have a xtl5000 mid power unit that has a "L" as the first letter of the model number. my issue is that I can only select a W7 or W9 head in the head change function. /\/\ defines "L" as table top station and "M" as mobile. I am trying to convert over to a O5 or O3 and I do have the TIB and flex to do the conversion. How d I change to "L" to a "M" as I think this will allow me to see a very expanded head choice list?
