Hello, I have a couple of JT1000 and they both seem to have some missing pixels. Are the displays still available? Easy to replace? I also have an XTS3000 with a couple of missing pixels and someone recommended to do a read/write with the CPS and its been fine since. Should the same fix work for the JT1000? It seems writing the codeplug may have woken the pixels up, so I guess they were not dead just turned off. Any feedback, thanks.

Unfortunately that won't work at all with the JT. It's definitely a hardware issue. The clothes iron method seems to work for a lot of people but I have one JT1000 that it just won't work on. Good displays appear here from time to time. Got one a few months ago for about $40. GARY N4KVE
