Audio Issues with HT750

Post by bedforddawg »

Hi folks!

I just bought a HT750 and I'm finding the audio to be a little "tin like", is there anything in the CPS to help the audio out at all?

Thanks!

The Pro series radios were notorious for bad audio when they first came out. It's all in the programming. This is what I do to improve the audio on my HT1550's. On the "Radio Configuration" menu, under the "Basic" tab make sure the "Audio Precessing Filters" box is unchecked. Then go tho the "Conventional Personalities" menu and choose the "Advanced" tab. Make sure that the "Compression" and "Expansion" types are set to disabeled. Then in the emphasis section select "de-emphysis and Pre-emphysis" as your option. You will need to do this for every personality you are having an audio issue with. That should solve your problem with tinny audio.
