GM1200 conventional mode

Post by atlantis »

I am trying to program a GM1200 radio, it is the model with display, 5 buttons and up/down button. However I do not want to do the flashing thing to get a 2100 series radio, I just want to program the conventional mode as intended by batwing.

I can physically program the radio and have programmed one conventional channel however I can't swith to conventional mode by long pressing the "P" button. I can push as long as I like and while I press the button the display says "PROG 1". Could I have overlooked something? Are further changes necessary than the addition of the conventional channel?

That's it, many thanks Andreas. If they only chose significant labels! Not being a Batwing-lingo-specialist I had no idea what it means and also the description in the help made me none the wiser...
