XTS1500 VHF antennas

Post by arlojanis »

Do you use a shorter antenna on your VHF 152-162 mhz XTS1500 than the NAD6563A (8505518V01)? If so, what length and part number?

You can use any of the VHF XTS/Jedi antennas I use the standard one or Visar style if I want to go low profile. The Wideband I find to be too tall and stiff under my bunker coat on my FDNY style strap.
