System 9000 on an XTL5000

Post by jake6758 »

Hi all,

I have looked at previous posts here as well as on MOL and the install and service manuals for this information. Hoping to get a final clarification before I finish placing this order and dive in.

Looking to install a system 9000 siren on an XTL5000 with an 05 control head.

I have the following parts

Spectra Astro system 9000 siren box
DEK box with spectra mic type connector

I believe I need the following

HKN4363C (Siren/tone box to DB25 on the radio)
HKN6189B previously HKN6189 (O5 yellow connector to DEK)

Other than that, do I need any other parts or need to alter anything for this to work?

Thanks!

Great thanks. Anything to take into consideration or be aware of for this install?

Thanks
