Flashcode: _APPL5_ on Consolette ???

Flashcode: _APPL5_ appears on the Motorola tag of a Consolette.
It appears exactly as shown with the one flat line before and after the number.
It does not appear to have been altered or portions blacked out
I don't translate in akardam.net Motorola Flashcode Decoder R04.05.10

Does anyone know this one ?

Unfortunately not. This is and item offered by a seller who is unfamiliar with such things as is often the case.

I too have seen this on a great deal of XTL's on ebay, perhaps a member will come forward with knowledge of this strange flashcode marking.

This flashcode is in a photograph which does not seem altered in any way. The tag looks genuine. The seller says that it was used as a control station, but had little else to offer.
