Hello,
I have a MC2100 (old version of the MCS2000) and a first edition of a Pentium4 desktop PC.
Now, I've red a lot about programming this radio with RSS (in my case it would be R0209') and I have a question...
Since I don't have an old 286 / 386 / 486 desktop anymore, the slowest PS I have is one of the first Pentium4 models (1,8GHz).
What I did is hook all the equipment and turned on the Motorola radio.
I have successfully read the codeplug from the radio without any errors.
I can view and edit the file I have saved but now the BIG question...
Now that is looks all to be working, can I PROGRAMM the readio with it?
In other words, if I can read from the radio with a 'fast P4 model PC', should it be no problem to program / write to the radio???
Programming MC2100 III on a Pentium4???

You can use a P I for this, even a P III works fine if you disable the CPU cache!
If you use Wookie Mobius, you can use a P IV,but Wookie make some trouble withe the mobile radios!
