HT750 4 to 16 channels possible yet?

Hey folks,

Picked up some HT750s today and come to find out they're 4 channel models. I've searched for a while now and only come up with threads from 2006 and before suggesting the radio cloning with a new firmware update.

Has anyone had any luck in converting an HT750 from 4 channels to 16 channels? I'll more than likely sell most of these off anyways, but I wouldn't mind keeping one in the inventory if I can get more than 4 channels out of it.
