XTL1500 Trunking Pinout

Post by candrist »

We are looking to interface an XTL1500 M28URS9PW1 to our VHF Repeater. The XTL1500 will be connected to our 800MHz trunking system.

Is there a pins on the radio that will provide cor/cos, ptt, receive audio, and transmit audio so that I can interface it to a repeater controller? If not, does anybody know of a better option.

Regards,

Chris

This might help you as to pin assignment on the XTL. These app notes are for a Pyramid SVR200 interface.

Dave gave you the pinouts and I can say we have done the same thing, interfaced to a VHF MTR2000 and it works great with no issues.
No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.
