XTS2500 Zone / Channel Alias on Separate Lines

Post by rgw1977 »

I have an XTS2500 Model 2 (limited keypad) and am using CPS 18.0.01 to program it and my Zone and Channel Alias are displaying on one line on the display instead of on separate lines and thus both are very limited in characters.

Can anyone help me with where to change this to where the Zone will move up and display above the channel alias?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, you're stuck with sharing the zone/channel names on the same line.

Ok, they why does the literature (user manual, spec sheets, trifolds. etc) show them on separate lines?

What radios do you own?: Not enough apparently!

The next line down is where the Radio ID Alias is displayed. You program that in from the General tab of the Radio Wide window under Radio Configuration. You can also program one of the soft keys to MY ID which allows you to turn the alias on or off but that's about it.
