I am helping an ambulance company set up a digital vhf repeater and need help programming it. I have UHF service manuals, but don't have vhf. The pll is not locking up, needs to be tuned. Can someone email or fax the vhf receiver tuning information to me? Thanks, Ben N2ROQ

Do you have the MSF5000 diagnostic/test panel? It plugs into the top of the control tray, where the RSS cable also does. You need the panel's meter to set the TX & RX VCOs, by plugging into the RJ-45 jacks on the front of the control tray, and using the proper hex or allen key to tune them. The meter should be set to "38" for both. Without this, you'll have a very hard time getting the TX & RX "lock" lights to come on, as you'll be tuning blindly.
