I received a lot of a dozen GP300's, all the same model and programming. All of them programmed up fine except for 1. When I read it I get error 21: model not supported. I am using the appropriate computer for the RSS. The model is P93YPC20C2AA. All of the radios were the same model and they programmed fine. it is already 16 channels, so there is no reason someone would have screwed with the code plug for that. I have also "debugged" it, with nothing relevant found. The initial decrypt shows all zeros in the segment I look at first. When I go to the beginning of the code plug it matches the other radios I have, although it does not follow the structure that I am accustomed to, so I can not check that the hex model number is the same as in the MDF. So, with that said.........
1) does anyone know what the latest version of RSS for the GP300 was? Probably a version of the GP350 software. (I have tried multiple versions of supported software)
2) Is there a way to force a code plug into the radio?
3) Is there a way to edit the code plug directly, while it is in the radio?
4) Most importantly, does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
JT

Re: GP300 ERROR 21
Sounds familiar. Are you sure it's not a 5-tone radio? look on the net for the 5T-rss.
These were common in europe, normal GP300:s are rare around here.

Or a GP88 in a GP300 housing.
