xpr4000/5000 series Problem

Anyone had any luck tying a desk mic to the rear accessory connector on the 4350/4550 or 5550

we have a couple of control rooms that have 3 desk mics currently connected to a cdm1250 that company is fixing to upgrade to a trbo connect plus system and we have had issues in other areas tying desk mics to the rear of the trbo.

When we tie them on they work but periodically the radio will just quit receiving until the radio is reset and then will work again sometimes a few hours sometimes a few days, the radios work flawless without the mics hooked up. We have used the xpr2500 and the cm300d without issue but they don't do connect plus...
