cdm1250

Post by Hogface »

I have a CDM1250 that I cannot get to break squelch. 50Mhz
I have validated the programming.

in Tuner, the R2001d provides tones and I can set squelch and have audio on the reciever

When I program a frequency, with the right PL tone,i see the antenna signal for receiving, but no audio.

I validated the output on the CDM1250 to my FT100.
When the radio is resetting, I hear the tone, but once it reboots, the tone/signal is masked again.

What am I missing?

If you press the MON button to disable PL or DPL, what do you hear?
If you press and hold the MON button to unsquelch the radio, what do you hear?

Check that you don't have Handset checked in Accessory Configuration. I believe that mutes the internal speaker unless you have handset connected and hung up.

Also you can try putting the radio in monitor mode and see if you get audio (you may have to program it for "Hook (HUB) Defeats PL" or program a button for monitor. That would tell you if it's a problem with the PL or not.
