converting an purc 5000 paging transmitter to an repeter advanced control head type cant get it to pass audio!

I don't know anything about the transmitter, but I am guessing that it's a continious duty paging transmitter. It might need some sort of a "audio on" signal (pull high or low) from the data or tone encoder. You could order a tone encoder and set it to 1000hz, from Communications Specialists at http://www.com-spec.com http://www.com-spec.com
